THE DAY 'MIDNIGHT IN PARIS' WAS DEFEATED.

I'd been having this nervous feeling about my future in the next couple of months. Though I knew worrying about something unpredictable was worthless and I could miss the chance to enjoy the very moment, I still found reasons to overthink. That was why I reached out to my close friend, an engineering student, for help. He and I are extremely different, yet the same. I enjoyed talking logics with him and in return, he gave me movie suggestions. Actually, that means I received all. Most of his advices worked like a charm. I watched Chef already so The Princess Bride was my first go-to. It was hell of a corny movie, foolish and adorable, especially Westly. Then I skipped Ex Machina as I'm not a big fan of robotic movies, unless it's stupid, otherwise I'll choose to watch something else. Suddenly, I remember there was this movie I really wanted to watch but always missed the chance. Scent of A Woman. The scene of Al Pacino tangoing with a beautiful brunett woman haunted me, and the melody of Por Una Cabeza flew in my mind gracefully. After two hours and a half, Scent of A Woman became the most beautiful, meaningful movie I've ever watched. It even won over Midnight in Paris. I'm lost of words to describe any further and I can't wait to watch more of middle-age Al Pacino. I should mention Martin Brest is the director, but I didn't find his other movies interesting. Clearly, I judged the book by its cover. And clearly, I believe in my intuition as well.

I think I'll watch Scent of A Woman again.
